Now that you have made the big decision to be a Zesty Franchise owner, let the fun begin. It's time for us to deliver on our commitment to you. Below is the path we will walk with you as your climb your way to business ownership and success.

POST-FRANCHISE PROCESS

Step 1

Financials

We have already pre-qualified you based on financial information you included in your application. Now, you are ready get financing pre-approval for your budgeting consideration. We will connect you with our banking partners who understand our business model and are familiar with our financials. You will need to get all your paperwork in order. You are also free to shop around for the best loan terms.

Step 2

Location

Zesty has access to fact-based territory optimization systems. They use location analytics, demand assessment, mapping systems, geographic analysis to optimize market growth planning, and site selection. You will also benefit from our extensive contacts with commercial real estate partners, landlords and and commercial legal counsel contacts.

Step 3

Build-up

Once your lease is signed, you are ready to kick off the building phase of your own restaurant. You will need to abide with Zesty’s uniform designs, building code from authorities, landlord provisions, architectural designs, constructor availability, set timelines and overall budget. Our advisors and project managers will help ensure this phase is both smooth and cost-effective.

Step 4

Fixturing & Equipment

By this stage, cooking, prep, service, storage, washroom areas are all built out. Lighting, HVAC, plumbing and electrical is also finalized. You are now ready to add fixtures and furniture to your restaurant. This includes shelving, lighting, countertops. Cooking and refrigeration equipment are brought and hooked up. Furniture such as booths, tables and chairs are also set.

Step 5

Training

Zesty’s rigorous training program is quite unique in the industry. In addition to easy to use training manuals for managers and employees, we have online courses to make it easy to certify managers and set servers for success. The real practice is delivered in our restaurants and then your own. It covers all areas that will familiarize you with Zesty’s operations, administration, management and service.

Step 6

Soft & Grand Opening

With supplies in, staff hired and equipment tested, you are ready for Soft Opening. Zesty will help you kick off this trial run to build buzz, prepare staff and refine logistics. This paves the way to the Grand Opening event, the largest marketing investment to launch your store with a bang. We have an effective system in place for planning, executing and maximizing your return on marketing investment.
